Every Durango now has a V-8 engine. Dodgesays some 2026 V-6 Durangos have already left the plant and are available at dealerships. They will also take orders for V-6 Durangos until August 13, 2025.
Fleet customers will still be able to get the Durango V-6. The Durango R/T also comes with a new Blacktop Redline package. This kit comes with black 20-inch wheels, badging, and SRT aerodynamic improvements at both ends.

Additionally, we shouldn’t rule out the potential return of a petrol model with a 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six under the hood because who knows whether or not EV adoption will stall around 2026.

The basic Durango GT is not only faster than its competitors but also useful and not dull, even though it has been around for a long time. The legroom in the third row is 33.5 inches, which isn’t the finest in its class, but it’s fine for youngsters. The cargo space behind the third row is 17.2 cubic feet, and it grows to 43.3 cubic feet behind the second row.
Dodge hasn’t given us a complete list of specs for the 2026 Durango yet, but it will be at least similar to the 2025 model. The GT will have 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. The 2025 model sports a 10.1-inch touchscreen UConnect 5 infotainment system, a seven-inch digital instrument panel, three-zone temperature control, and heated front seats that can be adjusted with power.
