2020 GMC Sierra HD Towing Capacity In one of the biggest unveiled events of the year, General Motor’s GMC Premium Truck and SUV brand have just released its new 2020 GMC Sierra HD. The heavy-duty pickup is touted as the “jewel of the crown of the 2020 GMC Sierra HD Towing Capacity range” and the model that most lives up to the Mark “Professional Grade” motto, so it is important that they get the right with this new generation.
We’ll cut right to the most important detail you need to know about the 2020 GMC Sierra HD: When properly equipped, it has an estimated towing capacity of over 30 000 pounds. If you could find a trailer big enough to bring an F-250 Super Duty, a Nissan Titan XD and the previous generation Sierra HD, this new Sierra HD 2020 could all. It is like two African elephants (or 3,000 cats) of mass value. We are talking about a serious pulling force.
This towing prowess is made possible by a larger, alarm box, a new 10-speed automatic Allison–the first 10-speed in this heavy pickup class–and 2020 GMC Sierra HD Towing Capacity 6.6-litre rowing turbo diesel. Towing, you may have guessed, is a big reason why people consider heavy pickups, so 2020 GMC Sierra HD has loaded the Sierra HD with a laundry list of towing and electronic traction technologies and control of the Stability acronyms and even integrations with prograde the application trailering in the vehicle of the towing system.
I am very impressed, however, by the new technology of towing based on the camera. The Sierra HD features a ridiculous 15-selectable camera views and a top-class rear-view rearview camera that allow the driver to get the best view of the road around the big pickup and its payload. None of these 15 views are more impressive than the “Transparent Trailer” function, which defines the views of two camera doors and a remote camera accessory located at the rear of the trailer so that the trailer does not appear visible when viewed from the screen of the dashboard. It’s like your own X-ray machine that lets you see the trailer you are towing.
Aesthetically, the Sierra HD is looking pretty good, driving with a grid and a lighthouse design that is much less… The division that his cousin recently made his debut, the Chevrolet Silverado HD. The signature of the C-shaped LED light of the Sierra HD does not differ too much from the Sierra to the standard scale, but its grid is much stronger.
This grid is not the only thing that is larger. The 2020 Sierra HD is longer with a than the 2019 model, which gives it a more imposing look. However, GMC has designed the Sierra HD to be more affordable and easier to live with, thanks to details like a 1-inch lower bed height that allows for easier loading.
2020 GMC Sierra HD also brings its MultiPro tailgate from the smallest Sierra to the HD part. This soft-opening tailgate has a smaller rear-nested tailgate that allows for a total of six functions, including fully open, half-open, easy access, Step-Up, and extended loading modes. The bed also features box steps on all sides, 12 lashing points and a 120-volt electrical outlet available in the bed.

GMC tells us that more than half of the Sierras it sells are the most expensive, premium Denali topping level. Thus, the 2020 Sierra HD will intensify its game to appeal to these buyers with high-end leather seats, genuine wood fittings with open pores and dark-finish aluminum details.
The new for 2020 is a road-centric AT4 Trim level that matches the Sierra HD capabilities of the circuit breaker.
