The GMC ACADIA is on track for an update in 2020, but the popular mid-size crossover will continue to receive a handful of changes for the model year 2019.
GMC is taking out three Acadia colors for 2019: Metallic ore, Crimson Red Tintcoat, and black Metallic cherry. Meanwhile, the Acadia is gaining four more colors: Dark Sky Metallic, Smokey metallic quartz, Metallic Pepperdust, and red quartz metallic.
Also outside, Acadia’s SLE-2 and SLT-1 ornaments are receiving Blackwall P235/65R18 tires for the entire season.
Inside the 2019 GMC ACADIA, the SLE-2 and SLT-1 settings will get the driver’s side window controls Express up and Down. The dealer-installed rear seat entertainment system will be removed.
At the package level, the recently introduced Acadia Black Edition edition will be offered for the SLT trim. This special edition will include 20-inch mechanized aluminum rims with black accents, black headlamps and back-lamp details, a black and black-enveloped grille insert, black roof rails, black mirror caps, and other exterior accents.
The Black edition will come in a selection of these five colors: Ebony metallic Twilight, Metallic Dark Sky, Smokey metallic quartz, white Frost tri-coat, or Summit white. In addition, the interior ebony Color will now be offered as part of the All-Terrain SLT package.
Now in its second generation, the GMC ACADIA expires for a mid-cycle update in 2020. Changes for that model year are expected to include the powertrain and the outside. The following are the changes, updates and new features for the 2019 GMC ACADIA:
