2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Pickups have different talents, but the 2023 RAM 1500 is more talented than most semitone trucks because it’s so much nicer.
Entry-level models may not be upholstered with the fancy materials and upscale features of the most expensive fairings, but they can still ride better than the most luxurious alternative air springs thanks to their more advanced suspension, which can be made even more comfortable with those available.
RAM 2023 also offers 1500 with a large 12.0-inch touchscreen, a cargo bed-mounted compartment, and a folding tailgate. Its engine list operates through a smooth automatic transmission and includes a 395-horsepower Hemi V-8 (with or without hybrid assistance) and an environmentally friendly six-cylinder diesel with 480 pound-feet of torque.
The most powerful configuration can also pull 12,750 pounds. Obviously, the capabilities of the RAM 1500 2023 ensure that it won’t be confused with anything other than a truck, but the fact that it can pass as a luxury vehicle makes it special.
2023 RAM 1500 Redesign: What’s new for RAM 1500
By 2023, RAM is expanding the ways buyers can get a half-ton pickup truck. The new additions include a sporty G / T package for Laramie and Rebel, the rugged BackCountry Edition, and a more luxurious version of the Limited known as the 10th Anniversary Edition.
The G / T is highlighted by the cooling air intake, unique exhaust system, paddle shifters, and console-mounted shift levers. The BackCountry Edition is essentially an off-road-oriented package for the price-conscious Big Horn and Lone Star models.
The 10th Anniversary Edition upgrades the Limited model with richer interior materials, an exclusively available Blue Shade paint color, and special badges inside and out.
When Was The RAM 1500 Redesigned
Sales quickly doubled and then doubled again. Further redesigns followed in 2002 and 2009.
The Dodge RAM 2023 name was dropped after the 2011 model year, making the 2012s the first RAM brand buyers. The latest RAM 2023 is the new 2019 available in the quad and double cabinet models.
2023 RAM 1500 Rumors
There will be rumors circulating that the 2023 RAM 1500 will come with an upgraded cabin air filter. New orange and red paint options are offered depending on the trim.
On the Big Horn trim and above, the Uconnect 5 Ram infotainment interface is added, which is faster and features Wi-Fi capability, crane-only navigation, and over-the-air update capabilities.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Preview
The full-size, lightweight 2023 Dodge RAM 1500 pickup truck has grown into a complete machine over the years. It looks solid, even elegant, but that doesn’t mean the truck can’t do it.
Typical for this segment, at least from domestic manufacturers, RAM 2023 is available in Normal, Extended, and Crew Cab configurations. The Regular Cab is called the RAM 1500 2023 Classic and is based on a much older body style. Choose the four-door version for the ultimate design.
Standard rear-wheel drive, available all-wheel drive, different bed lengths, package options, and drivetrain upgrades allow for extensive customization across a range of equipment variants.
Dodge RAM 2023 has announced that it will add performance-oriented Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models for 2023 RAM 1500 Engine Options. Both are offered in a double-cab configuration with paddle shifters, Mopar cold exhausts, and intakes, as well as the truck’s 5.7-liter V8 mild-hybrid engine.
Everyone is talking about the 2023 Dodge RAM 1500, especially the Crew Cab model. Not so long ago, the terms “luxury” and “pickup” were not used together. The RAM 1500 2023 changes that, especially in the upper area, where smooth leather adorns the interior.
RAM 2023 drives smoothly and helps pamper passengers. Like other models, 1500 is challenging to maneuver on city streets.
The current 1500 RAM does not lack drive options. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. Next up is the 5.7-liter V8 engine that develops 395 horsepower and 411 pound-feet of torque. At the top of the range and exclusive to the TRX is a 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 with 720 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
A fourth engine, this one with diesel, is also available. This 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 makes 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Like the other three engines, it works with 8-speed automatic transmission.
When it comes to safety, the 2023 Dodge RAM 1500 is a mixed bag. While the competition consistently adds standard safety features, the RAM 2023 reserves automatic emergency braking for the upper equipment.
The same applies to functions such as the blind spot monitor, active lane control, and adaptive cruise control. They are available in most configurations but are not part of the standard equipment. The head-up display and the reversing camera are now available.

2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Interior
2023 RAM 1500 Refresh in Inside, the RAM 1500 offers highly functional storage space and plenty of space for passengers. The higher trim adds quality materials and comfort, which makes the RAM feel more like a luxury vehicle than a pickup truck.
Most models can be fitted with high-end features such as heated and ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof, while the most luxurious versions have high-quality leather finishes and real wood accents. As with most full-size pickup trucks, the RAM 1500 crew cab is very spacious.
It also has plenty of interior storage space and a unique folding tailgate. Both five-foot-seven-inch and six-foot-four-inch cargo beds are available, but the expanded Quad Cab only goes well with the latter.
The RAM truck has had one of the best infotainment systems and connectivity functions in its class for some time. This continues on the latest trucks, with a responsive 8.4-inch touchscreen or an optional large 12.0-inch touchscreen available on all models except the base model with RAM.
It’s a shame that we had a lot of breakdowns with the large display during our 40,000-mile run. The system has several sockets as well as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a mobile hotspot. Fortunately, even the largest screens have physical buttons and hard buttons that complement the points of contact.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 GT
The G/T kit is available on RAM 1500 Rebel and Laramie trims. RAM offers many options for its 1500 pickup truck. In addition to the additional RAM added at the factory, the brand also offers a large catalog of spare parts available to add to your RAM 1500 after taking truck delivery.
But what happens when RAM flips through the aforementioned catalog and offers some of its accessory items as part of an optional package available for 1500? Well, you got the recipe for the 2023 Dodge RAM 1500 G/T.
Adding a G/T kit to the RAM 1500 Rebel 2022 or Laramie (the only trim the RAM offers on the package) adds a reworked exhaust pipe, a performance page in the infotainment system, a pair of paddle shifters, and air conditioning.
The intake to the 5.7-liter V-8 engine with the “mild-hybrid” eTorque RAM system is the only engine the brand offers with the G/T kit. While the RAM is silent on the V-8 specs in the G/T guise, the brand currently rates the engine at 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque.
We bet those numbers will stay the same, though the G/T’s minor exhaust and intake 2023 RAM 1500 Updates may bring a little more power and torque to the engine.
To differentiate the G/T from the run-of-the-mill 1500 Laramie and Rebel trims, RAM added a special “sports performance” hood and a “G/T” sticker along the sides of the truck. Additionally, the RAM added a G/T logo to the front bucket seats, and a set of all-weather Mopar floor mats in the 1500s were equipped.
Look for the 2022 1500 G/T RAM to go on sale later this year, with the four-door-only (or Crew Cab in RAM-speak) model priced at $55,070 in the Rebel G/T form. Plan on dropping $57,175 to get 1500 Laramie G/T.
2023 RAM 1500 GT Laramie and Rabel
Special editions are very popular these days, and RAM Trucks brings another one to the market for the 2023 model year RAM Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T. These new trucks will satisfy many dealers with a sporty attitude and added performance touches. The 2023 RAM 1500 Laramie G/T model starts with receiving a sports performance hood (a sports hood is standard on the Rebel).
The Laramie and Rebel G/T trucks then add unique G/T exterior graphics. Boosting performance on the Laramie and Rebel G/T models are the factory-installed Mopar cold air intake and paint-back exhaust systems.
Moving inside, the Laramie and Rebel G/T 2023 RAM 1500 pickups will be treated to an update very similar to those found on the TRX models. The AG/T-only interior comes with high-roll bucket seats and the G/T logo.
The trucks also received a metal pedal kit, a steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifter, and a console-mounted performance shifter (which we liked the most). RAM also adds a performance page to the Uconnect G/T system, which displays information such as engine performance, 0-60 times, G-forces, and more.
The 2023 RAM 1500 Laramie and Rebel G/T will only be available on Crew Cab models equipped with the company’s 5.7L Hemi V-8 engine with eTorque. The Laramie G/T will come with an MSRP starting at $55,480, while the Rebel G/T will start at $55,375, both excluding the $1,695 destination RAM fee.
In comparison, the similar 2023 RAM 1500 Rebel and Laramie start at around $53,000, making the G/T package really worth the price of admission.
2023 RAM 1500 Limited
Pickup trucks aren’t always technology-packed, leather-covered vehicles. More often than not, they are built to handle heavy lifting without the frills.
That’s changed in the last 15 or so years, and one vehicle, in particular, has a lot to do with the 2023 RAM 1500 Limited. That luxury pickup bent 10 years ago, and on Tuesday, RAM celebrated its birthday with the 2023 RAM 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition.
Like the luxury pickups that came before it from RAM, the anniversary edition doesn’t swap its workhorse persona, the company said.
The Core remains a formidable pickup with a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a mild hybrid system or a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel as options. From there, RAM fabricated an exclusive blue for each truck and tossed it into the multifunction tailgate as standard equipment.
The star of the show remains the interior. Upholstered leather for the seats and door panel inserts? Check. Suede headliner? Of course, there is. The cab features a color combination of indigo and a color called “sea salt” to break up the surroundings for passengers, and aluminum helps the trim and bezels stand out.
The Tenth Anniversary badge, graphics, and metal finishing kit for the pedal round out everything. Buyers also get a 19-speaker sound system.
2023 RAM 1500 plans to deliver the truck to dealers in the third quarter of this year. If you need to celebrate the anniversary of this luxury truck, it costs $61,870 after a destination cost of $1,695, a price that rivals a German luxury sedan.

2023 RAM 1500 TRX
It’s basically impossible to dispute the fact that the absolutely insane TRX RAM receiver is awesome. It’s massive and produces over 700 horsepower, not to mention all the awesome aggressive styling touches.
Unfortunately, it costs more than $70,000 to get started, which is a lot of money. Now, if only RAM offered a truck with some of the TRX’s good performance and imaging features, but at a lower price.
RAM announced the 2023 RAM 1500 G/T model on Wednesday, based on Laramie and Rebel hardware. These trucks have a few TRX-specific features like Performance Sheets (which give you tons of performance metrics and data and let you watch them in real-time in the car or download them to a USB drive) and steering wheel shifters. sports performance hood and upgrades. other aesthetics.
In addition, all G/T models feature a performance exhaust with back painting as well as a new cold air intake. No, that’s not going to make up for the 292hp difference between the standard G/T 5.7-liter eTorque mild-hybrid V8 and TRX’s screaming Hellcat V8, but that’s something, right?
The 2023 RAM 1500 Laramie G/T starts at $57,175 and the Rebel G/T starts at $57,070, including a target RAM fee of $1,695. The G/T model will be available at dealers in the third quarter of this year.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Engine
Among the many trim levels are the V-6 and V-8 petrol engines, all paired with a solid eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are powered by a 48-volt hybrid system, although the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 is also available without electric support.
We rode several models with the latter and appreciated the baritone exhaust sound of the engine and its fast acceleration. We also use RAMs with a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine (called EcoDiesel) that produces 480 pound-feet of torque, which is more than comparable diesel in the half-ton Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
Six-cylinder oil burns slower than Hemi but is refined for diesel and provides better fuel economy. For the adventurous, the durable Rebel model provides a more rugged look and legal off-road capability.
Every 2023 RAM 1500 has an impressive ride thanks to a rear suspension that uses either standard coil springs or optional air springs, as opposed to the traditional leaf spring arrangement found in local competitors.
Models equipped with air suspension even have an adjustable ride height that helps fuel efficiency and off-road capability. Its light steering and powerful brakes also provide a comfortable ride and stop with confidence.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Towing Capacity
The 2023 RAM 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds and carry a payload of up to 2,320 pounds. Maximum towing capacity exceeds all but the Ford F-150, which currently weighs over 13,000 pounds.
Crew-cab RAMs, including the Rebel model, can’t pull as much as the extended Quad Cab model, but still, exceed 11,500 pounds.

2023 RAM 1500 Changes
All-New Dodge RAM 2023 models now come with an upgraded cabin air filter. New orange and red paint options are offered depending on the trim. On the Big Horn trim and above, the Uconnect 5 Ram infotainment interface is added, which is faster and features Wi-Fi capability, crane-only navigation, and over-the-air update capabilities.
2023 RAM Rebel
One of the most interesting features of the 2023 RAM Rebel is the ability to choose the powertrain you want. There are four options starting from the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine with eTorque technology. The final powertrain option is a 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel.
2023 RAM Rebel the average Dodge Ram 1500 can have 300,000 miles on it and still perform like a beast. However, that is only if the truck is properly cared for throughout its service life.
What is the price of the Ram 1500 TRX 2021? The price of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX starts at $69,995 plus a $1,695 destination fee. Ram hasn’t announced how much the additional package will cost. That’s a much higher starting price than the Ford Raptor, even as a SuperCrew (taxi crew), which starts at $57,785.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 MPG
With V-6 and V-8 hybrid engines as well as diesel options, the RAM 1500 series offers variable fuel economy. The EPA estimates that the most efficient V-6 RAM will reach 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, while the V-8 version is rated at 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway.
The government estimates that diesel-powered RAMs will reach 22 mpg in city and 32 on highway; these numbers are slightly lower in all-wheel drive. The Rebel we tested earned a highway 24 mpg on our 75 mph real-world fuel-efficient route, which is part of our extensive testing regimen.
That’s 6 mpg better than the gas-only V-8 Rebel and 4 mpg better than the non-hybrid Laramie V-8 we tested. For more information on the 2023 RAM 1500 fuel economy, visit the EPA website.
2023 Dodge RAM 1500 Price
The exact price was not disclosed. However, we do know that the new Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T will have MSRPs of $57,175 and $57,070, respectively. Both prices include a $1,695 destination fee.
While the 1500 TRX 702-hp RAM (reviewed separately) reduces the Rebel’s cravings, we think it’ll still get half a ton of RAM. We would have preferred an all-wheel-drive crew cabin, and we would have preferred the extra power and sexy sound of the V-8 over the standard V-6.
We will also choose air suspension for selectable ride heights. Since it requires a Level 1 or Level 2 package, we think the latter’s list of remote start, 115-volt sockets, front and rear parking sensors, power-regulated pedals, passive hands-free entry, and more makes it one. – get some kind of
We’ll also find a 33-gallon fuel tank that will fill up less than the standard 26-gallon tank while driving. The only other option we recommend is the Safety & Comfort package (which includes adaptive cruise, auto high light, plus a spray mattress liner.
